meri khamoshi ko woh meri khata kehta hai
kitna nadaan hai wafaoon ko jafa kehta hai

woh ke anjaan e mohabbat hai usai kiya kahiye
dil ke rone ko wih dharkan ki sada kehta hai

mai usai kitna bhi chahoon per nahi us pe asar
meri diwaangi ko apna huner kehta hai

yaan to awaaz uthaane ki saza maut hi hai
tum bhi maano wohi jo haakime waqt kehta hai

bus woh aaghaaz e mohabat ke chand lamhe hain yaad
jin ko "Jana" woh larakpan ki khata kehta hai
